Special voters' registration camp organized in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: The District Election Office, Kokrajhar, on Saturday organized a special voters' registration camp here for special summary revision.

Election Officer (in-charge), Kokrajhar, Portia Khanikar has informed that as a part of the special campaign for special summary revision of electoral roll, an on-the-spot registration of voters and an inter-college quiz competition was organized by the District Election Office, Kokrajhar at the Kokrajhar Government College taking January 1, 2022, as the qualifying date.

The winning teams were: First prize winners-- Pritam Narzary and Lakhi Narzary of Kokrajhar Government College; Second prize winners --Satik Debnath and Subunkar Mazumder of Kokrajhar Government College; and the Third prize winners -- Detsung Goyary and Prasenjit Brahma of U.N. Academy. The efforts of all campus ambassadors, specially the volunteers of the Kokrajhar Government College helped to make the programme a success, she said, adding that a cycle rally was also organized on Sunday which was started from the Election Office, Kokrajhar.
