SSB seizes cannabis, arrested four smugglers in Arunachal Pradesh

TANGLA: Amid the ongoing situation of pandemic and lockdown, the 61 battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), stationed in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh, apprehended four smugglers of cannabis at Ten Kilo area of West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on the night of May 13 and after interrogation seized two vehicles ( AS 27C 5364 and AS12BC 4036) carrying 54 bags of cannabis and cash amount of Rs. 72,200 along with four mobile handsets. The apprehended persons have been identified as Nur Hussain (19), Mofik Ali (22), Karim Ali (20) all from Aminpara village and Haydar Ali (19) of Jhargaon village under Rowta police station in Udalguri district.
