State Bank of India donates 5 computer sets to home for destitute girls in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: The State Bank of India (SBI), Regional Business Office, Bongaigaon, took the initiate of providing five desktop computers under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to Destination Girls' Home of NEDAN Foundation, an NGO based at Kokrajhar.

The chairperson of the NGO, Digambar Narzary said that the Chief General Manger, SBI North East Circle, Ramesh RS, Deputy General Manager Madan and Assistant General Manager Gurupada Halder came all the way to Destination Girls' Home campus at Anthaigwlao in Kokrajhar recently to hand over the five computer sets. CGM Ramesh R.S, while handing over the computer sets to the girls, highlighted the importance of learning computers and also assured to provide best possible support to the girls of Destination Girls' Home in the near future also.

The team of NEDAN Foundation along with the inmates of Destination Girls' Home offered traditional Aronai and performed a welcome dance for the SBI officers.
