Teachers & students of Mahakali Grant High School condoles death of Rubi Deka

TINSUKIA : The teachers and students of Mahakali Grant High School deeply mourned the untimely death of one of their teachers Rubi Deka (35) who expired on Wednesday at Dibrugarh due to liver and kidney ailments. In a condolence meeting held at school premises on Thursday with Swapna Deka Malakar, headmistress of the school in the chair, Union Minister Rameswar Teli and State Minister Sanjoy Kishan paid floral tribute at the portrait of the teacher. Besides teaching, Deka was also closely associated with sports and cultural activities of the school. She also worked as contractual teacher in Tinsukia College before joining the school assignment. Several student organisations including members of gaon panchayat attended the meeting.
