Three school students of Demow make lockdown period productive

DEMOW: Rupali Chaura and Anita Chaura are the daughters of Siba Nath Chaura, a daily wage labourer, and Priya Chaura is the daughter of Sukheswar Chaura, a tea garden worker.

Rupali Chaura, Anita Chaura and Priya Chaura, residents of Demow Kaliapani Swarna Gaon, have properly utilized their time during the lockdown period. When other children were busy playing and surfing the Internet, Rupali Chaura, Anita Chaura and Priya Chaura were busy in agricultural activities.

Rupali Chaura, a student of Class X, Priya Chaura, a student of Class IX and Anita Chaura, a student of Class VIII, of Demow Girls' High School, are members of Sonapur Social Development Society, an NGO. During the lockdown period, they were not only cultivating rice in the field but also studying regularly and creating awareness among the labourers of tea estates. They have successfully utilized this lockdown period to do something productive.
