Two arrested for illegally operating Aadhaar enrolment in Hailakandi

HAILAKANDI: Two persons were apprehended for clandestinely operating Aadhaar enrolment illegally here on Tuesday night.

Disclosing this information, Superintendent of Police, Pabindra Kumar Nath said the persons have been arrested at Bahadurpur under Hailakandi Police Station last night when they were doing Aadhaar enrolment clandestinely outside an earmarked Aadhaar enrolment centre. Nath said the persons have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. A case no.1010/20 under Sections 468, 419 and 420 IPC has been registered against them.
