Two married women electrocuted in oil town Digboi

Digboi: In a tragic incident, two married women died after being electrocuted by a live wire incident a room at Golai No.1 in Digboi under Tinsukia District.

The two women were identified as Rita Mukhiya (21) and Anju Mukhiya (35).

Following the incident, family members of both women took them to Digboi Civil Hospital, however, they were declared brought dead.

Meanwhile, Digboi Police is investigating the matter.
