Two more COVID-19 deaths in Tinsukia; total positive cases 4,009

TINSUKIA: Though the number of COVID positive cases in Tinsukia district is showing a diminishing trend during past two days with 25 cases being recorded on Saturday and Sunday tallying number to 4,009, the number of deaths, however, has been escalating. With the death of two persons- Hiren Kalita (58) of Digboi and Priyabrata Acharjee (61) of Congress Colony Tinsukia on Sunday, the deaths spiked to 42. As per record provided by district administration 2,525 persons have been released so far with the positivity of 8.91 per cent.
