Two persons die of COVID in Tezpur

TEZPUR: Two more persons died, and 96 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in Sonitpur District on Sunday, thereby increasing the total number of active cases in the district to 1,004. These cases were reported from various parts of the district. Official sources said, "COVID positive Pratim Bordoloi (53), of Ushanagar and Kailash Sah (56) of Rangapara died at a Tezpur Medical College and Hospital. The total number of COVID deaths in the district has increased to 38 since May of last year till today.
