United People's Party Liberal protests 'illegal' BTC appointments in Udalguri
The United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has demanded appropriate action against all illegal appointments in BTC

UDALGURI: The United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) has demanded appropriate action against all illegal appointments in BTC since 2005. Rajkumar Prithvi Narayan Dev Mech, the UPPL spokesman, said that the party was against those appointments which had been made illegally. A high-level inquiry was going on in this matter, he said.
The UPPL has lodged an FIR against all illegal appointments at Kokrajhar police station.
During the media briefing he said that the UPPL would win in 26 seats. Arun Barua, the president, and Dipak Pathak, the secretary of Bhairabkunda Primary Committee of UPPL, along with other party leaders were also present.
