Village Defense Party of Demow Police Station Observes Foundation Day

DEMOW: The 50th foundation day of the Village Defense Party (VDP) of Demow Police Station was observed on Friday. Abdul Razaque Khan, president of Village Defense Party (VDP) of Demow Police Station, hoisted the flag. The earthen lamp in front of the portrait of Hari Narayan Barua was lit by Sunthan Shyam, new OC of Demow PS. A general meeting was held which was presided over by Abdul Razaque Khan. Shubha Lakhi Dutta, DSP of Sivasagar district, was present in the program as chief guest.
