70 Meritorious students felicitated by Pailapool Merchant Association in Silchar

Silchar: Around 70 meritorious students of all highs school in Pailapool GP were recently felicitated by Pailapool Merchant Association (PMA) at a programme held at Pailapool Community Hall. The programme organized by the Association was graced by the presence of guest-of-honour Lakhipur MLA Rajdeep Goala. These students secured very high marks and brought laurels to their respective schools. These students were from Pailapool Nehru Higher Secondary School, Immanuel English School, Brilliant School, Lakhipur Earle Higher Secondary School and others. Rajdeep Goala urged upon the students to study hard and also appreciated the efforts of the teachers and staff of the schools.

Rajdeep Goala also expressed his gratefulness to the Association for inspiring the students. The Association which was founded in the year 2014, has been organizing this event for the last three days. The meeting was presided over by Ajit Bhowmik, president, Pailapool Merchant Association. The former principal of Nehru Higher Secondary School, Shivnath Mishra graced the occasion as its chief-guest.
