Assam University, Silchar Unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Screens Uri

SILCHAR: The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic and nationalist feelings at Silchar by various NGOs, associations and socio-cultural groups. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (AVBP), Assam University, Silchar unit, too observed the 73rd I-Day.

To make the celebration more memorable, they hoisted the national flag, conducted a flag march and screened the film Uri, the Surgical Strike for all at Bipin Chandra Paul auditorium. Students of nearby schools like PC Barjhalenga HS School and Irongmara High School along with others saw the film with interest. NCC team of the Varsity also assisted the parishad members.
