Lt General Rajeev Sirohi visits Srikona

Silchar: Lieutenant General Rajeev Sirohi, AVSM, VSM General Officer Commanding, Spear Corps, visited headquarters of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) on Thursday. IG Assam Rifles (East) briefed the Corps Commander on the overall security situation in the area of responsibility.

The General Officer expressed his satisfaction at the operational preparedness of Assam Rifles in maintaining peace and tranquillity in the region. He complimented Assam Rifles for its professionalism, commitment and dedication to duty in conduct of people friendly operations in hostile terrain and challenging conditions. He also interacted with the officers and motivated them to work tirelessly and also in a professional manner to accomplish their tasks.
