GUWAHATI: Several States have announced lockdown till March 31 as a preventive measure against COVID-19. Among the States are Delhi, Telangana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and seven districts of Haryana.

Telangana would be under lockdown till March 31 in a bid to contain coronavirus spread.

Here are a few tips that can help you deal with lockdown better:

While a state goes on a lockdown, all essential services shall be exempted from this.

So people have been urged to not panic. People have also been urged to indulge themselves in bulk buying as that will create shortage of essentials and can trigger panic.

People should not leave home unless it is very important. “Follow the instructions being issued by the Central government and the state governments. In districts and States where the lockdown is announced, do not leave the house at all. Apart from this, do not get out of their houses unless it is very necessary in the rest,” Modi had tweeted.

With schools shut as a precautionary measure against coronavirus, students can now take to e-learning with the help of Government’s e-books mobile app “UMANG” which offers more than 1 crore e-books, videos, and audios on all subjects from primary to secondary level. he UMANG app helps students to access books and study materials using e-pathshala.

Meditation and yoga can also help as stressbusters. It is another way of keeping yourself fit in such a situation.

You can fall back on technology to catch up. It is time you can spend with friends and catch up with friends.

Most importantly, it is important to practice physical distancing from gatherings and people in general so that the coronavirus curve could be flattened and number of those getting infected can come down.
