3 State players earn FIDE rating

GUWAHATI: Three junior players of Assam Chess Club have been awarded FIDE Rating by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) in its rating list which was released yesterday. Abhirup Saikia was awarded Rating of 1333 while Tanmay Rajbongshi and Prayashee Rajbongshi were awarded Rating of 1366 and 1129 respectively. Abhirup undergoes training at Akshayam Chess Learning Centre, Dispur while Tanmay and Prayashee are the trainee of Snehabandhan Chess Learning Centre, Noonmati.
