Assam girls lose to Jharkhand in Senior Women One Day championship match

GUWAHATI: Jharkhand defeated Assam by 10 runs in the Senior Women One Day championship match held at Surat today. Chasing 179 runs to win Assam scored 168-9 in their 50 overs. Sapna Choudhury, top scorer in the innings, remained not out on 49. Earlier invited to bat, Jharkhand scored 178-5 in their 50 overs. Durga Murmu (44) was the top scorer.
