Assam paddler Adrija Sarmah finishes with four medals

GUWAHATI: Assam paddler Adrija Sarmah came out with magnificent performance in the North East Games in Imphal. She altogether bagged four medals which included three gold and one silver. Adrija bagged gold in the women singles and in women doubles. In the doubles she was paired with Liyah N Hussain. The paddler was also the part of the women team which earlier won gold. Later she collected a silver in the mixed event.

The other medal winners of Assam in Table Tennis event: Mixed doubles- Silver- Kaushik Phukan and Adrija Sarmah. Bronze- Chanakya Gogoi and Meghna Rosel. Men doubles: Silver- Zeedan Gogoi and Kalyan Singh. Bronze: Kaushik Phukan and Chanakya Gogoi. Women Doubles: Silver-Pratiksha Konwar and Akanshya Borpujari. Men singles: Bronze-Kaushik Phukan and Zeedan Gogoi. Women singles: Bronze-Meghna Rosel.
