Assam Sports Journalists Association Inter Media Cricket from Dec 8

GUWAHATI: The Assam Sports Journalists Association (ASJA) is going to host its much-awaited annual event, the TOPCEM-ASJA Inter-Media Cricket Tournament, at the Judges Field, Guwahati from December 8.
The tournament will be held among at least five teams comprising Guwahati-based journalists and media workers from all spheres. The participating teams will be Electronic Media XI, Media Management XI, Prasar Bharati XI, Guwahati Press Club XI and host ASJA XI.
The matches will be played in T20 format and the tournament will be held in league-cum-playoff format. The champions will be rewarded Rs 20,000 in cash and the runners-up will walk away with Rs 10,000 along with trophies, medals and certificates. There will be individual awards as well carrying cash rewards.
All Covid-19 protocols will be followed strictly during the tournament.
