Assam thrash Nagaland in Senior Women T20 tournament

GUWAHATI: Assam thrashed Nagaland by 69 runs in the Senior Women T20 tournament held at Raipur today. Rode on a half century from Anita Lodhi (4X7), Assam scored 154-7 in their 20 overs. Monikha Das (26) and Ruhina Pegu (21) also contributed good socres on the board.

Later the bowlers of Assam restricted Nagaland to 85-3 in 20 overs. With this match Assam finished the group league phase standing on top of the points table. The side collected 20 points from their six outings. Among the six matches Assam won five and lost only one.
