Assam to face Gujarat in Vijay Hazare Cricket campaign

GUWAHATI: Assam will start Vijay Hazare Cricket campaign on September 19 with the match against Gujarat.

The other teams in Assam’s group are Haryana, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Team Rajasthan, Services, Tripura and J&K. Assam will play all their group matches in Chennai.

Meanwhile in the 2018-19 Ranji season Assam will play their first game against Jharkhand from November 1. Ranchi will host the match. There are altogether ten teams in elite group ‘C’ which included Assam, Jharkhand, Tripura, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Haryana, Team Rajasthan, Services, Goa, and Uttar Pradesh.
