Cautious start for Assam against Jammu & Kashmir in Ranji Trophy tie

GUWAHATI: Assam made a cautious start to their run chase against Jammu & Kashmir in the Ranji Trophy tie in Jammu today. In reply to home team’s first innings total 460-5 declared visitors finished the day III 22-0 in their first innings.
Rishav Das and Rahul Hazarika today opened the innings for Assam and the duo bat 8 overs together and took Assam’s score 22-0.Rahul
remained not out on 8 and Rishav (9) is giving him accompany.
Earlier two centuries from Shubham Khajuria (138) and Abdul Samad (103no) helped Jammu and Kashmir to put 460-5 (dec) on the board in the first innings. Roshan Alam picked 3-109 while Arup Das and Riyan Parag bagged one wicket each.
