Chennaiyin FC Face Minerva Punjab In Guwahati Today

GUWAHATI: Table-toppers Chennaiyin FC (CFC) will take on Minerva Punjab in the Group E game of the 2019 AFC Cup match which will be held at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in the city tomorrow. The match will kick off at 3PM. Chennaiyin and Bangladesh’s Abahani Limited Dhaka although collected same points (seven each) from four games but Chennaiyin managed to earn slender lead in the points table courtesy a better head-to-head record.

A win in Guwahati will help Chennaiyin to inch closer to the knockout round. On the other hand an unbeaten Minerva will be looking for their first AFC Cup win to keep qualification hopes alive. It may be mentioned here that Minerva had drawn all their four games so far in the championship.
