Dhemaji collect 3 points vs Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Dhemaji collected vital 3 points by virtue of 1st innings lead against Guwahati in the drawn Group A match of the JK Baruah U-19 cricket match held at Golaghat today.

After restricted Guwahati at 281 yesterday, Dhemaji declared their 1st innings at 384 in 86 overs losing 9 wickets on Day 2 and gained 103 runs lead. Arup Kumbang struck 80 runs off 109 balls while Juseph Buragohain and Darshan Dutta scored 55 runs each. Sourav Mausam Dihingia and Rajesh Sahni added 35 and 39 respectively. Chinmoy Sarma, Rakesh Das, Rohit Singh and Sahil Ahmed took two wickets each.

In their second innings, Guwahati managed 90 in 17 overs losing 3 wickets at close of the match.

Tomorrow's match: (Group B) Tinsukia vs Golaghat.
