District level Football, Volleyball meet concludes at Roing

ROING: The 4th edition of the District level Hangpan Dada Memorial Trophy for Football and Volleyball for Lower Dibang Valley district concluded today in a colorful ceremony amidst a cheering crowd here at Roing.

The programme was graced by ADC Tapik Pertin ADC and Dota Dele (District president volleyball Association), District Sports Officials Raju Mipi, sport association members, participants, and the general public.

Appreciating the DA and the organizing committee for successfully organizing the tournament, Dota Dele advised all the participants to maintain sportsmanship and spirits of games. He also encouraged the participants to play more games and adhere to the motto of “Hum Fit Toh India Fit”.

The winners at the District Level for Football (girls) were Rayang team and Football (boys) was Cheta team. The winners for Volleyball (girls) were Jia team and Volleyball (boys) was the Agamgita team.
