District level wushu Competition meet held in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Under the aegis of Golaghat District Wushu Association a District Level Wushu Competition held at Golaghat Indoor Stadium on December 4 and 5. More than 230 players from 15 registered clubs took part in the two-day meet.

Uriamghat Hatidubi Wushu Club bagged the first position with 18 Gold, 10 Silver and 8 Bronze medals. On the other hand Balijan Wushu Academy ranked in the second with 13 Gold, 7 Silver and 5 Bronze medals while third rank was bagged by Parakram Combat Centre Golaghat with 10 Gold, 5 Silver and 5 Bronze medals.

The Wushu Competition was supervised by Bipul Talukder and technical side was supervised by Bitul Neog. National Level Referry Gopi Singh Lama and Kumud Gogoi along with Amar Singh Limbu, Bhaskarjyoti Thengal, Partha Pratim Saikia, Ajoy Topna, Junti Baruah, Kashmiri Neog, Devojit Baruah, Rinku Bora, Mridul Hazarika and Tilomaya Devi conducted the competition.
