Football team of Kamargaon College lifts 16th Captain Jintu Gogoi Memorial Trophy

Dibrugarh: Kamargaon College Football team bagged the champion trophy in the final of the 16th captain Jintu Gogoi Vir Chakra Memorial Tournament, organized here at Army Polo ground, Paltan bazar as a part of Army’s Operation Sadbhavana. Dao Division’s Football team was the runners up.

Brigadier Rohit Sehgal, commander Laipuli Brigade, Padmashree Prahlad Kumar Tasha and Honorary Flying Officer, T.R. Gogoi graced the closing function of the tournament and gave away the prizes to the winner and Runners up trophies. The winner Kamargaon College Football Team was awarded with cash prize of Rs 75,000, winner’s trophy and Gold medals while runners up Dao Division Football team received a cash prize of Rs 50,000, trophy and silver medals .

Commander, Laipuli Brigade,Brigadier Rohit Sehgal was the Chief Guest during the closing ceremony which was attended by large number of senior Military and civil officials.
