Fund Raising Initiative for Debashsish Roy & Soccer Coach Babu Singh

GUWAHATI: Fund Raising for Soccer Players & Coaches: Association of Assam Football Coaches (AAFC) has taken a fund rising initiative to provide financial assistance to former international footballer Debashsish Roy and soccer coach Babu Singh. Babu Singh has been fighting against a life threatening disease while Roy is struggling to make both ends meet.

Roy, the former international football player, who turned up for all 3 big clubs of Kolkata-Mohun Bagan, Mohammedan Sporting and East Bengal- is struggling with his life due to poor financial condition. On the other hand Babu Singh, an AFC C license coach, has been suffering from cancer and day by day his health condition is deteriorating.

The secretary of the Association of Assam Football Coaches Dr Mantu Baro in a release said that the executive body of the association in its recent meeting decided to come forward with fund rising initiative to provide financial assistance to Roy and Singh. He also added that entire amount that would be raised through this fund raising campaign would be distributed to both of them.
