ID Swimming begins

GUWAHATI, June 2: The 27th All Assam Inter District Aquatic championship got under way at the Bimala Prasad Chaliha Swimming pool here today. The meet was inaugurated by Arjun Awardee athlete Bhogeswar Barua. 31 state swimmers, who won medal in the different national swimming competitions last year, was felicitated in the inaugural function. Around 350 players from the different parts of the states are participating in the championship.
