Kristi Boro bows out in semi finals

GUWAHATI: Assam's Kristi Boro ended her journey in the ITF U-18 Juniors Tennis Tournament at All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) Complex here today. In the girls semi finals she lost to Top seed Vaishnavi Adkar by 0-6, 1-6. In the other semis 3rd seed Ruma Gaikaiwari had to fight hard to beat 5th seed Sonal Patil by 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.

In theh boys final top seed Yuvan Nandal will face Aditya Nandal. Yuvan in the first semi finals defeated Bushan Haobam by 1-6, 6-0, 6-2. Aditya Nandal (IND) won the other last-four game against Jaishnav Shinde 6-0, 6-1.

Results: Boys U-18 doubles final-Yuvan Nandal / Saheb Sodhi def Bushan Haobam / Nikhil Mukharjee 6-1, 6-3. Girls U-18 doubles final-Ruma Gaikaiwari / Riya Sachdeva def Kristi Boro / Arni Reddy Yello 6-7(3), 6-3, 11-9.
