Silchar enters into final of the RG Bauah Inter-District Cricket tournament

Guwahati:Silchar entered into the final of the RG Bauah Inter District Cricket tournament defeating Tezpur by virtue of the first innings lead at Barpeta today. The highlight of the game was a superb performance from DerhasaBoro who picked up 13 wickets in the match, 8 in the first innings and five in the second. Replying Silchar's first innings total 202, Tezpur today bowled out 182. Abhishek Deb and Biki Roy picked up four and three wickets respectively while AbhijitBhadra (32) were the top scorer for Tezpur.

Silchar bowled out 167 in the second innings. Abhishek Deb scored 68. AbhijitBhadra and DerhasaBoro picked up five wickets each.
