The 47th Inter District Weightlifting Championship Held At Sivasagar

GUWAHATI: The 47th Inter District Weightlifting Championship for Youth, Junior and Senior was held at Natyamandir, Sivasagar recently. About 300 participants from Dibrugarh, Dhemaji, Biswanath, Charaideo, Barpeta, Kamrup, Guwahati, Sonitpur, Tezpur University, IIT Guwahati, SAI Guwahati, Assam Police, NF Railway and hosts Sivasagar participated in the event. Charaideo and SAI Guwahati won the Best Men’s Team and Best Women’s Team awards respectively.
