315 people from Assam stranded in JN Complex, Shillong due to lockdown

Shillong: More than 315 people working in the organized sector and hailing from different parts of Assam housed in JN Complex in Shillong are becoming desperate to reach their respective homes. Some of them are even ready to walk as far as 400 km.

However, due to the lockdown and the curfew being imposed by the district administration in Shillong, they are now stranded at the complex although food and other essentials have been provided to them by the administration. People from charitable organizations are also lending a helping hand.
