Border Security Force Workshop On Human Trafficking Held In Shillong

GUWAHATI: A workshop on human trafficking was organized at FTR HQ, BSF Shillong on Friday. The programme was conducted by Impulse NGO Network of Meghalaya in collaboration with BSF.

During the workshop, Rosanna Lyngdoh, co-founder on the board of directors of Impulse deliberated on human trafficking, child trafficking, HIV/AIDS awareness, adolescent health and livelihood support of rural artisans and shared her experience.

Kuldeep Saini, Inspector General said, “As members of the BSF generally remain on borders and far-flung areas on the international border, such workshop enables them to familiarize themselves with the latest development in the field of human trafficking, child labour, prostitution, adolescent health and livelihood support of rural craftpersons.”
