MDC Polls: Lambor Malngiang yet to finalize decision

SHILLONG: Independent MLA from Nongkrem, Lambor Malngiang on Friday has indicated his intention to contest the MDC polls in 2019. Speaking to reporters, Malngiang, however, said that the final decision will be taken only after he holds a meeting with his supporters from the constituency in the coming days.

“As things stand right now, I might contest the election or I might not contest it,” he said. Malngiang also pointed out that at present he is only thinking about his list of priorities which is to bring about development and work for the people of his constituency. “Right now this is what I am concentrating on and maybe later I will think about the MDC election,” he said.
