Meghalaya Assembly Budget Session from March 13

SHILLONG: The Budget Session of the Legislative Assembly will commence from March 13 and end on March 26.

The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) which sat on Monday to settle the calendar for the Budget Session decided to have 10 working days.

The Budget Session will begin with the address of the Governor, Tathagata Roy on March 13. There will be seven days of government business and three days of private members’ business. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will present the Budget estimates for the year 2020-2021 on March 18 and it will be passed on March 26.
