The leader of Opposition from Meghalaya TMC, Dr Mukul Sangma visited the Rongara Siju village with relief to provide support to the locals. Dr Sangma visited the households ravaged by the flood and assured continuous support.

According to the TMC, his visit marks Meghalaya TMC's unfaltering support towards the flood victims and denotes TMC's pledge to work for the people given rain or shine.
