Raid Laban Sports Social and Cultural Organization felicitated 315 meritorious students

SHILLONG: The Raid Laban Sports Social and Cultural Organization on Saturday felicitated 315 meritorious students at Soso Tham Auditorium Shillong. The function was inaugurated by R. V Suchiang Additional Chief Secretary to the government of Meghalaya. Speaking to reporter after the facilitation program, Sanbor Shullai president of the organization said, “The objective of the program is to encourage that the students continue to work hard and achieve success in their academics.”

He informed that the organization has facilitated the students who have excelled in various exams in 30 categories which included SSLC, HSSLC, CBSE, Degree beside others. The students who were facilitated today are all residents from South Shillong Constituency.

“We have also facilitated those students who are differently-abled and also awarded around 147 students with laptops,” he said.

He informed that the first time the facilitation was organized there were only 35 students who had received various awards but now the number has increased to 425 students.
