Sanbor Shullai stresses on the issues of farmers-teachers

SHILLONG: BJP candidate for the Lok Sabha election from Shillong constituency, Sanbor Shullai, in public meetings held in Byrnihat, Nongpoh, and Ummulong addressed the issues faced by farmers and teachers.

Addressing the issue of farmers in Meghalaya, Shullai stated that till date no one has addressed the issue of farmers.

Shullai stated that like in other States, farm loan waiver should also be addressed in Meghalaya and stress should be laid on organic farming as it would give a boost to the agriculture sector in Meghalaya.

He also highlighted the issues of teachers who are ‘being deprived of their dues’.

He stated that if he gets elected, the problems faced by farmer and teachers would be addressed.
