Stress Laid On Plastic-Free World: NEIGRIHMS Prof (Dr) DM Thappa

Shillong: World Environment Day was celebrated in NEIGRIHMS on Tuesday by the Department of Hospital Administration in collaboration with Junior Chamber International (JCI).

Speaking on the occasion, Director NEIGRIHMS, Prof (Dr) DM Thappa stressed on a plastic-free environment and urged participants to avoid using plastics in our day-to-day life. Deputy Director, D Umdor spoke about measures NEIGRIHMS has taken for awareness to reduce environmental pollution in and around the hospital. Prof Noor Topno deliberated upon the importance of celebrating World Environment Day.
