Tribute Paid to Captain WA Sangma at Williamnagar, Meghalaya

WILLIAMNAGAR, East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Swapnil Tembe led government officials, NGO leaders, senior citizens and others in laying floral wreaths in the office premises of the Deputy Commissioner here on Friday, stated a press release.

While speaking about the dedication and tireless efforts of Capt WA Sangma towards the hill State movement, Tembe said that the name of the great leader is in the heart of every citizen of Meghalaya.

On the occasion, ADC, L Ch Marak read the life history of the great leader while ADC, A Ch Marak delivered the welcome address.

The vote of thanks on the occasion was proposed by EAC, PK Sangma.
