‘Will Take Time To Settle Issue’: James K Sangma

Shillong: Home Minister James K Sangma has categorically stated that the present dispensation is serious to solve the plaguing Harijan colony imbroglio in Shillong. “We are very serious to solve the problem and a problem as complex as this will take some time”, the Home Minister told The Sentinel over phone on Monday. Asked on the threat issued by the HNLC, Sangma said, “As always, We are taking each and every threat seriously and the government will not allow any organization or individual to create any communal dis-harmony”. “I have had talks with the police officials in order to ensure that the lives of each and every citizens is protected”, he added.
