Disability Assessment Drive Gets underway in Nagaland's Longleng

LONGLENG: A Disability Assessment programme by the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Cooperation of India (ALMCO), in coordination with the district administration and the Department of Social Welfare, Longleng got underway in the district on Monday and it will continue till October 1 next.

The DIRP, Nagaland informed that Longleng town, Hamlikong, Orangkong, Alayong, Noksosang, Sanglu and Yaongyimchen villages were covered under a camp at the public ground here on Monday. On September 27, Sakshi, Yimchong, Auching, Yangching, Yongphang, Pongo and Hongnyu villages will be covered. On September 28, Yongnyah, Chingong, Shamshangching, Yongshei, Yungja, Tangha, Amosen, Nyang, Chingshang, Mechung and Yongam villages will be covered. On September 29, Bhumnyu, Dungkhao, Mongkong, Oukshok, Hukphang, Lingtak, Pongching, Namching, Oulam and Mongtikang villages will be covered. On September 30, a camp will be held at the public ground in Tamlu town where Tamlu town, Tamlu village, Ametchong, Kangching and Ngetnyu villages will be covered. On October 1 at the same venue, Buranamsang, Shamnyuching, Apoiji, Ngetcho-ngching, Namhaching, Shetap, Yonglok and Laodigarh villages will be covered.
