Nagaland: Minister Temjen Imna Along Shares Video Of Artist Drawing His Portrait

KOHIMA: A pencil portrait artist has gained popularity in the age of digital and AI-generated art, and Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along shared his work on Twitter with a cute caption. With the video, the artist meticulously sketches a portrait of Temjen Imna Along in graphite pencil. The minister referred to the artist's pencil portrait as a "timeless classic" since he admired it so much.

"Awesome Art!! Black and white is a timeless classic. Keep up the soulful work. Feeling blessed and emotional," a tweet read by Nagaland Minister Temjen Imna Along who shared a video on Twitter. He also didn't forget to tag the artist, whose handle is @the_atractive_90s, on Instagram.

The tweet has received about 1000 likes and more than 22,700 views since it was tweeted on January 14. Additionally, the share has drawn a lot of comments.

An artist from Assam previously painted a realistic portrait of Temjen Imna Along in acrylic on a peepal leaf. The act of drawing something on paper is difficult enough, but artist Bishal Deka went above and beyond by meticulously painting his muses on peepal leaves.

An element of magic is art. One may understand how it occasionally can be so ceremonial, divine, and mystical if they are aware of that. A "celebration of creation" is not usually what art is. A few pieces of art also have a pleasing effect on viewers' sight. And Bishal Deka, the assam-based artist amply proved this by putting forth an unrelenting commitment to his work.

After Bishal posted the videos and pictures of his own artwork the next day, the Nagaland Minister retweeted the pictures. He wrote a thank you note to the artist while publishing pictures of his painting of a leaf.
