Programme to be launched in East Siang on November 25

PASIGHAT: The ‘Hamara Arunachal Abhiyan (HAA)’ will be launched in East Siang on November 25. Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Home Minister Bamang Felix will take part in the launching programme, informed DC Dr. Kinny Singh while chairing a coordination meeting held in the DC office conference hall here on Sunday.

The DC, in her brief address, called on the residents of the district to be equal partners in the development process, adding that the government alone cannot bring positive changes or development in the society. Involving the NGOs, the student community, the government bodies, the CBOs and the various civil society organizations from across the district, the HAA campaign should reach out to people with a mission to make better and developed Arunachal Pradesh, she pointed out. The DC chalked out a final plan for a mass procession and talk show etc for the scheduled launching ceremony.

The meeting was attended by the Legislator Kaling Moyong and Ninong Ering, SP Rajiv Ranjan Singh, OSD to Home Minister Michael Pangin, DDSE, JNC Principal, representatives of CBOs, NGOs and students’ unions.
