Deepika Padukone is one of the most stylish stars of Bollywood and can make anything look good. From basic blue jeans to simple kurta, the actress never fails to impress us with her style. Recently, she was spotted in retro-esque look at one of the cinema halls in Mumbai.

The actress celebrated National Popcorn Day with Meghna Gulzar, the director of her recent movie 'Chhapaak'. The actress picked up an easy-breezy look. Her loose-fitting dress by Paul & Joe featured frill detail around the off-shoulder neckline. It comprised of balloon sleeves, finished with frill detailing.

For her hairdo, she sported a low ponytail. Styled by Shaleena Nathani, her hair was accessorised with a knotted black headband. No to miss were her pearl-drop hoop earrings, which gave us major vintage vibes. And for her make-up, she sported a dramatic wing eye with strong brows and nude lips.

This is definitely one of Deepika's most interesting vintage outings and we totally loved it. What do you think of Deepika Padukone's latest look? Let us know in the comment section.(Agencies)

Saree trends that will rule 2020

Saree is one of the most elegant and evergreen clothing items. You can experiment a lot with a saree. Be it the type of cloth or print or detailing, you can always try something new when it comes to saree. From Alia Bhatt to Kriti Sanon, here are few celebrities who are seen acing up the trend right.

Go all bold and beautiful like Alia Bhatt with ruffle pallu paired with a strapless blouse. Complete the look with big earrings and a middle-parted sleek ponytail.

Nothing speaks louder than having modern forms to traditional textiles which makes life more comfortable. Adapting to changing trends and lifestyle and still being able to wear what represents where you come from is just a marvellous innovation.

Tie-dye sequinned sheet sarees are perfect for millennials brides. Anyone looking for the slightest quirk in their wedding looks can easily wear it on their Cocktail or Sangeet.

Conventional silk sarees are beyond the bounds of fashion and trends. They are always going to be wardrobe-essentials. Wearing this silk attire with its colourful pallu left loose on the arm is never going to stop looking striking. The most popular types of silk sarees are Kanjivaram or Kanchipuram, Banarasi & Bandhani. These luxurious pure silk attires are known for their unrivalled selection of designs and vibrant colours. Traditionally they were adorned by Indian brides, particularly Banarasi silk sarees.

Kamarbandhs or Belts are traditional adornments. They were worn over lehengas and sarees to hold them in place and enhance their beauty. Over time the concept of Kamarbands has been reinvented and are now available in an array of designs, from intricate thin chains to quirky embellished belts.

If 2019 was the year of high necked blouses then 2020 will be the year of puffy bouffant sleeved blouses. Made with rich fabrics embellished with cuffs and frills, these blouses can be paired with any saree from printed to silk sarees. In fact, a bouffant blouse can bring drama and character to a saree.

Modern prints such as that of pineapples, dream catchers, and windmills instead of regular floral prints are only getting popular. With the potential inclusion of quirky foil prints, word engravings, geometric prints and abstract art, sarees are going to be an à la mode in the summer of 2020.
