9 killed, 15 injured in head on collision in Demow

At least 9 people were killed and more than 15 people were injured in a severe head on collision between a Dibrugarh bound ultra bus (AS 05C 5999 )and a Jorhat bound traveller (AS 23BC 6878) in Khaura area of Demow on Monday. All the injured people have been immediately rushed to Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh for better medication.

Meanwhile, out of the 9 deceased people one has been identified as Naren Bharali of Demow. The body of the deceased passengers were taken to Demow Adarsha Hospital.
