AASU staged 2 hr fast in protest in Namrup

Namrup Unit of All Assam Students Union (AASU) staged a 2-hr fast-in protest against State Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary's visit in the area on Saturday.

While staging the protest, the students' body demanded immediate set up of the Namrup-IV unit of the Namrup Brahmaputra Valley Fertiliser Corporation Limited (BVFCL).
