After 10 days, Family members of Dulal Paul performs final rites at Dhekiajuli

Finally the cremation of Dulal Paul was performed at his native place at Alisinga village in Dhekiajuli after 9 days on Tuesday evening in the presence of senior officials of Sonitpur District Administration, Public representatives among other organizations.

At the last rites of Dulal Paul, where Dhekiajuli MLA Ganesh Limbu, Hojai MLA Siladitya Dev (on behalf of Assam Government) were present, were also attended by the Dhekiajuli Circle officer.

Notably, Dulal Paul died earlier this month at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) following a prolonged illness. He was declared as 'foreigner' by the Foreigners' Tribunal (FT) and was sent to Tezpur detention camp in the year 2017.
