Anti-CAA protests: Senior Citizens from Naharkatia stage protest along with AASU

In order to pressurize the Central Government against contentious Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019, the senior citizens from Naharkatia stage a sit-in protest today along with All Assam Students' Union (AASU) and 30 indigenous organizations near Naharkatia AASU office.

The senior citizens also demanded release of peasant leader Akhil Gogoi and others.
